artwork guidelines Hart & Clough incorporates a complete PDF workflow which maintains information integrity. Correctly prepared PDF files open exactly as the original document and preserve source file information including text, drawings, fonts, full-color graphics and photos regardless of the original application used to create them. PDF’s are viewable and printable on all platforms including Macintosh and Windows. preferred applications All fonts embedded Image resolution no less than 300dpi @ 100% size Images CMYK or greyscale 3mm of bleed around edges of artwork Registration and tick marks included on each PDF Spot colours preserved if Pantone colours require printing Quark Xpress artwork must be supplied with all collected fonts and images. In-Design & Illustrator artwork should be saved with all fonts converted to outlines. Photoshop files must have layers flattened and saved to at least 300dpi as either high resolutions JPEG’s, TIFF’s or EPS’s. Please ensure all images are saved as CMYK or greyscale’s unless Pantone colours are required.
