The Amadeus Press was established in Huddersfield in 1989. It provides a friendly and efficient print resource for publishers and authors wanting the reassurance of their books being designed and printed with the same care and attention they have spent in writing them. Since then the Amadeus Press has grown from strength to strength with more clients appreciating the service and quality they get from dealing with a compact and solely UK based production facility. The Amadeus Press outgrew it's Huddersfield site and moved to it's present modern production facility in 2000. 
Many people visit us to discuss their work and entrust us with valuable and often irreplaceable photos and documents they want to include in their publications. Clients are always welcome to visit us to have a look round or to pass their work on press. 
Our extensive studio includes three high quality scanners maintaining the excellent reputation the Amadeus Press has for re-producing black and white photographs and illustrations. It is far harder to reproduce and print high quality black and white pictures than colour, so if you are considering a publication such as a history book where much of the original material will be black and white, please bear this in mind! It goes without saying that our colour reproduction is also second to none. 
But it’s not just pictures! The look and feel of a book through good design and ‘easy on the eye’ page layout is also vitally important. We can take your raw copy (it may even be handwritten), layout and design the complete book, producing quality proofs ready for you to read and approve. Of course you will be fully involved from design through to finishing and we invite you to visit us at any stage of your books production. 
Our highly experienced staff will also be more than happy to advise you on your choice of material and binding and submit samples where required. Our most typical binding methods are perfect binding, section sewn and case binding.design.htmlshapeimage_6_link_0
